Why do you need an electronic module for a towbar?

Most modern cars, equipped with CANbus, are equipped with a "light control system". The computer controls the vehicle lighting system, responding to any changes, such as an overload of the lamp control circuits. In that case, it is not possible to directly feed the trailer from the car system.

Even if the car does not have a computerized lighting control system, it is not advisable direct parallel connection of the trailer.The relays in the car would be overloaded and worn out, sparking, or even the printed circuit boards of control modules would quickly oxidize and "burn out" due to increased power and hence the temperature rise.
