We design universal analogue modules for controlling trailer lighting. The Lights Sender range is engineered for 12 V vehicle electrical systems and installations using 7-pin or 13-pin sockets.

Modern vehicles increasingly monitor their lighting through the body control module and CAN bus. Connecting trailer lights directly in parallel can overload the vehicle circuits, trigger bulb-failure warnings and, in extreme cases, cause the wiring to overheat.

A towbar wiring module reads the control signals from the vehicle’s rear lights while powering the trailer lights through a separate supply cable. This reduces the load on the factory electronics and provides a safe buffer between the vehicle and the trailer.

An analogue solution requires neither vehicle-specific coding nor software updates. Installers remain free to route the wiring as needed, while one proven system can be used across many vehicles with 12 V electrical systems.
